All of our cages are custom made-to-order. That means every inch of your new cage can be unique for you and your birds! We partner with you to design and build out all the great features you want and need for the exact bird cage cage to fulfill all your individual needs. All of our cages are 100% American made with American sourced materials.

The Ultimate Cage is covered by our exclusive Lifetime Warranty which covers weld breakage and rusting.
Stainless Steel Construction
Surgical grade 304 stainless steel is used in construction. This is the grade of stainless steel used in most food, dairy, beverage, food preparation and pharmaceutical applications and will last forever in most bird cage applications.
Bar-Through-Frame Construction
A unique feature to Northwest Cages, results in the strongest design in the industry, and is safe for all birds.
Slide-out Cage Bottom & Waste Tray
The bottom grate and the stainless steel waste tray both easily slide out the front of the cage, even if the optional seed apron is installed.
Bronze Main Door Hinge
The main door hinge utilizes a permanently lubricated bronze bushing resulting in a smooth and quietly operating door. The stainless steel hinge pin is removable to allow for easy replacement of the bushing.
Custom Side Panel Bars
Choice of vertical or horizontal side panel bars. Smaller breeds of birds may find easier climbing with horizontal bars on the side of the cage. Larger breeds can usually climb quite easily with vertical bars by utilizing the horizontal supports.
Low-luster Brushed Finish
The hand-rubbed finish on the Ultimate Cage looks great, is sanitary and extremely simple to maintain in beautiful, like-new condition for a lifetime. This stainless steel finish is non-toxic and super durable and does not rust, chip, or peel, which can be very dangerous for birds.
Accessible Food/Water Stations
Two food/water stations are provided and are accessible from the exterior of the cage. The access doors feature a very simple but effective door latching mechanism. The bowl holders are designed and built to retain the bowl in the holder from inside the cage and the access door shut. We provide stainless steel bowls but can also provide ceramic bowls or make the holders to utilize a customer supplied bowl.
For applications where cages will be exposed to direct contact with salt water and will go for extended periods without washing, Type 316 grade stainless steel is available as an option.

Food & Water Stations
Stainless Steel Seed Apron
Stainless steel seed aprons can be built to fit almost any size cage and extend outward from the bottom of the cage to catch falling seeds, feathers, and food debris. When installed, the cage will require about 9” additional floor space in the width and the depth.
Bottom Storage Shelf
One of the most popular items with our customers. The storage shelf is constructed using the same techniques as the cage and is typically mounted a few inches above the casters. Ideal for storing cage covers, food containers, treat containers, toys and other related items.
Toy Mounting Rings
Toy mounting rings can be welded to the cage top to facilitate the hanging of toys to allow for physical exercise, mental stimulation, and enriched entertainment for your bird(s).
Drop-down Access Door
Also known as a “landing door” or “drawbridge-style door,” this drop-down access door is a cage access point that opens downward to create a platform for a bird to exit and enter its cage.
Double Main Door
The option of double main doors can be installed when additional width is required for access to the cage interior, which can be helpful for handling your bird, cleaning, or placing large items inside.
Outside Mounted Feeding Stations
Can save time and effort for refilling with easily removable bowls, and reduces the stress on the bird from a human hand entering its personal space. Can also help maintain a cleaner environment.
